Hopefulness in  The Qur'an

My sons! Seek news of Yusuf and his brother. Do not despair of solace from Allah. No one despairs of solace from Allah except for people who are disbelievers.' (Surah Yusuf: 87)

Man places his hope in Allah in relation to the degree of his faith. He hopes to attain the favors promised to him to the extent of his trust, closeness, submission and sincerity to Allah. A person who hopes for the mercy of Allah does not transgress or talk evil. He never suppresses the voice of his conscience. On the contrary, he summons people to the way of righteousness, forbids evil and performs his religious duties with wholesome zeal. These are actually the people who earn the approval of Allah.
